Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – “Sympathy, Goth Style”
If anyone tells you that black is NOT a colour for a sympathy card. You tell them that they are … correct.
Today’s creation uses the Sympathy cut, foil and emboss sentiment die from Couture Creations.
The background was a patterned cardstock sheet that was cropped down and fixed to the front of an A6 card. No surprise there.

What was a surprise was that, in choosing coordinating cardstock for the sentiment and flowers, I ended up choosing black. I mean, what?!
Well, in for a penny, as they say, I cracked on die cutting all of the bits, assembling and gluing.
Now, I know I said that you can tell people that they were correct about black not being a sympathy colour, but, I kinda like how this one turned out.
Horses for courses, I guess.
