Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – “Thanks For Everything”
Another new make to share with you today. This time, a little thank you.
Because you deserve it.
You might have been expecting me to use a rectangular card – if so, it’s likely that you don’t visit this blog often because I am again using a square card.
Honestly, I don’t know why I am fixated on this shape as my go-to card. Perhaps it’s because achieving a balanced layout is easier?
Anyhoo, either way, this card turned out nice.

The background was made with the Faceted Frames cut, foil and emboss die which was cut using the inked letterpress technique and then layered onto some plain and patterned cardstocks with foam pads, to lift it.
The floral centrepiece was created using a whole bunch of random dies/stamps that I have had in my collection for a while.
A blue stardust glitter gel pen was used to infill the floral focal point, which turned out rather lovely, I reckon.
I was tempted to add ribbon through the holes in the banner but decided not to in the end – what would you have done?
I’d love to know.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Bye for now.
J :)

Your card is lovely. As all ready mentioned, no ribbon.

Gorgeous card, again John! I also make more square cards than rectangles.
I love a square card far more.

Morning John, i think the card is lovely just as it is. Maybe a ribbon would have taken the eye away from the centre of the card. X

Good morning John and what a lovely day it is too! Sun is shining and I have a load of lovely new crafting things to play with – heaven! I love the card as it is. I feel ribbon would detract from the clean lines of the design rather than add to it. Just my opinion but I am sure that others would disagree. Keep safe everyone.
