Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – “Be Strong”
Been a while since I shared some makes using the dies that I designed last year so thought that I would pop a fresh batch up.
Sorry I haven’t shared these in detail sooner however it’s been a bit chaotic around here, even with the bug thing giving me more time at home than normal, which is a lot anyway.
There will be a new one up daily for at least the next couple of weeks so feel free to pop by for a catch up anytime.
This first one is made with the “Cathedral Window” Cut, Foil and Emboss die using the letterpress technique and gold ink.
It was nice to see how the combo of the ink, cardstock and pressure made for a distressed look, without even trying!
This die-cut was layered onto some patterned paper stock which was already mounted onto the front of a square card.
I used a small sentiment stamp collection and a tag die to create the focal point and surrounded this with die cut flowers which had been snipped from the same papers used to mat and layer – a colour coordination tip there is you need it.
Does it look as quick and simple as that made out…?

Bye for now.
