In this video I would like to share with you how I recoloured a machine embroidery design from Urban Threads in Hatch Embroidery 2 software and then stitch it out on a Brother Innov-is 750PE embroidery machine.

Well, here is the design after I had recoloured it and stitched it out.

As I mentioned, the design came from Urban Threads. They have lots of lovely designs. I’ve shared a few with you before in various machine embroidery posts.

Recently I set aside some time to explore the Hatch Embroidery 2 software that I began in The Sunday Stitch and decided to start simple and just load a design and recolour it.

At least that way I wasn’t going to bog myself down in trying to learn too much all at once. A sensible plan, yes?

Anyway, luckily I recorded the creative event and have a video to share with you so, without delay, I shall pop it below for your viewing pleasure.
