A while back you couldn’t move on the internet without stumbling across someone, including me, raving about paint pouring. It is fun, creative and appeals to all facets of my creative side.
Just lately though a new kid has appeared on the block. Resin Art with Alcohol Inks. But, what is it and will I be doing it?

A quick google search turns up lots of inspiration.

YouTube also appears to have a fair few instructional/inspirational clips, from the sublime to the anarchic.

Now, of course, I was joking when I questioned whether I will be doing this. It’s more a case of when.
To see if that time would be ‘now’, I wanted to check and see if I had the goods to do it already in my craft room so I narrowed down the supplies list and went on the hunt.
That is not an easy thing to check at the moment as I am starting the run-up to moving house so things aren’t necessarily where I expect them to be. For example, I found the coffee in the fridge this morning.
Seriously.
I blame the gloss paint fumes.
Anyhoo, back to the point.
I managed to collect up some stuff but was scuppered as the ruddy resin had gone off. Probably left it in sunlight at some point in the past but it was defo not usable :(
Thankfully it looks like this trend/technique is making it’s way into the mainstream and there are now many many kits available, like this one.

Interesting …
Tempted …
What do you think? Is it something you would do? Have you done it already?
Anyway, I’d best get to ‘work’ but will be mulling this over throughout the day and look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Bye for now.
J :)

I didn’t do it and can’t wait to see what it is exactly, when you do it.
Have a great day and don’t put the coffee again in the fridge LOL
