Hunkydory Stylish Silhouettes

Stylish Silhouettes 3

Believe it or not I have managed another blog post about the Stylish Silhouettes!

Sorry about the lighting however when I took this photo it was overcast and a tad drizzly.

Anyway, loved the simplicity of this one and it was super easy to put together.

First I chopped the baubles (ouch!) and the sentiment from their carrier sheet and then used colouring pens to colour each one.

(By the way, I discovered after this that it is sometimes easier to colour them whilst they are still attached to the carrier sheet).

Each of the bits and baubles was then stuck to the card with PVA glue.

To finish I drew lines with a black pen (would have liked to have used a fine fine liner but I have lost it somewhere in Maisy).

The sentiment, being so simple yet fun, really finished this one of well I thought.

What do you reckon?

If I did this again, I wouldn’t add the grey pen around the edge of the white card stock. Instead I would leave it clean and crisp and even (Christmas pun intended).

Loving the look of these Stylish Silhouettes? You should be able to get hold of some from the Create and Craft TV website.

Many thanks for stopping by. More ideas for these lovely little things are on their way so please do come back again soon.

  1. I really like this one, and ADORE that ‘Believe’ sentiment, with the little stars around it. Who’s make is that die, John? I’m rather taken with it.

I agree about the pen around the edge .. but you could always put that one to bed by the use a a little stickles around the edge … and just to make sure everything is speaking to each other .. a few bits of the same stickles on one or two of the baubles would make everything friendly – like a party! lol
