Christmas is nearly upon us.
Lol! No, but seriously, I have been designing some cutting files to help me achieve a little more order in my Christmas preparations this year.

And here is a test run that I completed using the drawing feature on my cutting machine.

Sorry, this set has now been retired. Please visit my store on Creative Fabrica for the latest offers on SVGs.
PLEASE NOTE
The original post has been left in place below for reference purposes only.
I would, or course, love to see what you make with them.
Thanks for stopping by this post and hope you are having a good week!

I am very disappointed that I can’t use my Christmas words with my silhouette portrait, I can’t afford to upgrade due to unemployment. I am rubbish at cutting out and would have loved to use them as they were intended to be used.

Does the silhouette accept any other file type like DXF ?

Thank you John. Look forward to receiving these. Im sure they will be most useful. Please can I resize the words on the ScanNCut or in Canvas?

Once converted from SVG into FCM you can resize in both Canvas or the machine itself.

That is not the download link. That is the link to the blog page. If you’d like to reply to the email, which would have been attached to your PayPal payment confirmation from me, then I’ll be able to check and resend if necessary.

John, these are beautiful! I’ve been contemplating Christmas cards lately and these would be great. If you happened to be contemplating another set with Seasons Greetings and maybe a Winter would happily purchase those as well!! Thank you.

Hello John – I’ve just downloaded my Xmas Words and cannot use them with my Silhouette Cameo as I do not have the Designer Edition. Any way of using them without buying the Designer Edition?
LikeLike
Not as far as I am aware. You will need to upgrade to the Designer Edition of the software to use SVGs with the Silhouette products.

Can these SVG files be used with the Cricut/Scal..

I believe that they can but this will of course depend on the version of the software/cricut design space that you are using.

Hello John, Thank you for the Christmas Words Pack. It is going to be soooooo useful. I have used Corel to open the files and each one was locked to the centre of the page. I have, despite the warning, “unlocked all objects” in order to create phrases.
May I use the pack to create a digikit in Craft Artist 2?

As long as it is for your use only, or for you to use in making physical products to sell (as per the angel policy) then this is fine.
You will not be permitted, under the angel policy, to sell or share the digikit or other digital products derived from the files sent to you.

Thank you John. I would not dream of selling the digikits. It’s just that sometimes I make my cards purely on the computer with CA2 and sometimes I make my own toppers and embellishments. Thanks again.

Is the file easy to download – i.e. onto a stick and straight onto Scan n Cut
LikeLike
Potentially not as you will need to uncompress the file first. There is however an FCM file in the pack so you do not need to convert the SVGs first. Just use the FCM file directly with your machine instead.
