February Is Here, How’s It Going?

Well, wow, a month into the year already? How did that happen? I have no idea but as it is, it’s a perfect time for a wee catch up.

Daily Blog Posts

Well, I promised daily content and you have had it! All is going well so far and for those that worried about the monumental amount of work this was, you were right! Lol!

Thankfully the mammoth spreadsheet and some time-management have really helped. Here are just a few of the things that have appeared in January …

If you’ve missed any of it, please do pop back and have a look. There are a bunch of free downloads and videos there too.

Chats With Chums

The Facebook groups for the Scan N Cut, Card Sketches and Foundation Paper Piecing continue to grow on a daily basis so if you are following any of those blog posts series, please do consider popping along and signing up, we’d love to see what you make!

Other Stuff

Now, despite all of the above I continue to offer my Creative Fabrica Fans page subscribers weekly content and I was particularly chuffed with the Easter Egg Gift Box SVG cutting file set.

It was a labour of love in so many ways but so very proud to have done such an unusual shape.

How Are You?

Now, you’re well-being is very important to me. So, how are you doing?

Managing to stay virus free, healthy and happy? I do hope so.

Why not tell me what you have been up to in the comments section below. I’d love to know …

Ok, that’s it for this one. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully see you again next time you are in the area.

Bye for now.

John.

  1. We moved just before Christmas from a 3000+ sq ft house to a 1250 sq ft casita. Still trying to find places to put stuff. At least I still have a craft room all to myself. And I am getting it organized – sort of.

  2. I ask yesterday my hubby “do you know where Januari is gone”? It’s unbelieveble how quick time goes.
Totally love all the awesome things you show us and try to learn as much as I can from you. I’m not into everything (no paper piecing or machine embroidery) but like to see how things are done and love your video tutorials.
Your Easter Egg is realy a masterpiece John!
Finally I can say that my health is improving. Since about two weeks I’m feeling better and use less, almost none oxygene during daytime at home. Still Covid free, we say it’s something like Russian roulette, our daughter (we are living in the same house) is a high school teacher and the numbers of positive kids and teachers on the schools are very high.
And just like Hazel, I’m sorting our craft supplies and declutter the room, also because we are shifting the most used and important craft supplies to the living room so the tiny craftroom will change in a office for our daughter and storage for the supplies we (daughter and me) use less or are to big to store in the living room. But although I feel much better it’s going slowly because I do still have to watch out not to want to do too much at once to avoid taking a step backwards.
I hope you are doing well and stay Covid free. Thank you so much for all the things you do for us, I enjoy and appreciate it so very much. I have to watch my pennies, but know that when I can, I’ll buy you a coffee. Avery big hug for you.

  3. Morning John, Like Hazel I love the Easter Egg box and can only wonder at how long it took you to perfect but it looks absolutely gorgeous! Now my broken ankle has healed I am out and about again and able to take my little pooch for his daily walks and more importantly visit my local craft shop on a regular basis! I’m relatively new to sewing and quilting having been bought a six week course by my lovely ex-boss a couple of years ago. Since then I have managed to make three “lock down” quilts using the EPP method and numerous cushions but I really want to try the FPP method. It looks so lovely so I will be getting out my material stash and giving that a go very soon. Thanks for your your help, projects, tips, sketches etc., they are all so useful. I don’t own a scan and cut machine but I still like looking at your blogs to show just what these machines can do. Who knows, Santa might bring me one for Christmas! Keep safe! XX

    • Hi John

What a fabulous month of content you shared! Glad to hear that, while it is a massive amount of work, you have tools in place to manage it. I am in awe of your creativity (that Easter Egg box is brilliant)!

I am fine too, thank you for asking. 😁 Managed to stay COVID free so far in 2022. Let’s see how that goes as I’ve had it twice in 2021, with some lasting after effects. Have not been as creative myself as I would have liked to be but getting there.

May 2023 be a healthy, happy and stress free year for us all.
