A good while ago I came across a neat little add-on for the Brother Scan N Cut and quite honestly forgot to add it to my collection of info about the machine – bad naughty me! Anyway, recently the company has changed hands and started increasing availability across the globe so I thought that it was the perfect time to share – although you’ve probably heard of it already by now.
What am I talking about? Well, it’s the pen adapters from 3DFunPrintz.
Originally developed by Carl and his mum, the company has recently changed hands and is now owned and operated by the Barkers, Michelle, Roy and Maia – big smiles everyone!
With Roy’s (left) background in design engineering, Maia’s (right) passion for customer service and Michelle’s (centre) crafty knowledge, it’s like this family were made for this business!
Already this titan team are taking the brand to new places having introduced international shipping earlier this year and some new exciting goodies in the pipeline too.
Anyway, why am I talking to you about something you already know about? Well, it’s not often that I describe something as “best” as that term is subjective BUT in the eight years that I have been mucking about with the Brother Scan N Cut, I can honestly say that I haven’t come across an accessory more fit for purpose and enabling than the range of adapters from 3DFunPrintz.
I know that Brother have their own adapters and this post/video isn’t intended to do those a disservice as they do what they do and they do it well. If you watch the video though, I think you will understand how I have come to the conclusion that I have.
There is another reason that I wanted to share this information and that is that Maia will be doing a free prize draw on the 3DFunPrintz facebook page this weekend and giving away five bundles that include both pen adapters as shown here.
So, if you are reading this before 7pm (UK time) on Tuesday 1st February 2022, then please DO pop over to the 3DFunPrintz Facebook page and follow the instructions for how to enter the prize draw.
Alternatively, if you just want to buy them, you will find the full range on the 3DFunPrintz website.
Right, enough waffle I think and time to share this week’s video with you and SHOW you why I love this wee gadget.
