Card Sketch Challenge 2022 Part 1

Ready for the first of this year’s weekly card sketch challenges?

Not sure what this Card Sketch Challenge is all about? Have a read of this blog post to find out more!

In the meantime, this is the card that I made using this week’s layout.

Also, here is a quick video of me waffling on while I put together my take on this week’s challenge. Please do have a watch when you can.

Download The Free Card Sketch Here

The format for this year’s sketches is a little different to last year in that it is supplied as PDF sheet that you can download and print or store on your smart device. The sheet will contain both the sketch and the card that I created, as a little extra inspiration.

A UKA4 and US Letter sized option is available, just click the download link below according to your preferences/needs.

  1. Love watching your videos. Can you tell me the name of the paper glue please. I know you have mentioned it several times and I know it’s a book binding glue but I can’t seem to catch the actual name of it. I’m in Australia so I’m not sure if I can get it here but would like to try. The nozzle of the glue is fine so it only allows small amounts which would be great. I have to decanter glues I use into a smaller bottles with a fine tip but doing this I seem to waste it as it dries quickly or blocks the nib. If I can’t get it here I’ll get some in the UK when I’m there next month.

  2. Gorgeous card and layout John. A great begin of the new year!
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

Can I only post on the new FB group the cards made with the layouts of the week where they have been posted in or can I also post cards with layouts from 2021?
