30 Days Of Card Making 17

Day 17 – 30 Days Of Card Making

Found today’s sentiment after I started making the card so it’s a bit of a mish mash of feelings but still hope it comes across Ok.

Regular readers of this blog will know why I am doing this mini challenge in order to reunite my mojo with my craft space. To follow the full journey, you can find all related post in the 30 Days Of Card Making archive.

Ok, on with today’s creation.

So I started this one by blending some light sky blue sky with some fluffy white clouds – that didn’t show up too well in the photo.

I then came across the stormy sky sentiment and thought it would work well but then one of “us” questioned the optimistic blue sky with the stormy sentiment.

I pointed out that this is the “sunshine on the other side”. Ok?!

Finished that off with some bright flowers and an even brighter butterfly, all symbols of hope.

Not the best executed card but happy that day 17 is done. Anyone else feel that this is going quite quickly?

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks for reading today’s progress. Hope you will join me tomorrow to see how mojo, craft space and I get on with your journey.

Much love,

J x.

  4. I think this a great card for someone going through a tough time. I’d love to know where the sentiment came from. Indeed, the days have sped by since you started this project. Your mojo has certainly returned John. X

  5. Clean and simple what’s not to love? Really good sentiment too, might need to use that. Where is the sentiment from John?
You’re right, how can 17days have passed since you started? See you achieved it so far! Wx

  6. Hi John. I think that the card is very well executed. A friend of mine had some very bad news last year, so I used this sentiment with the sun’s rays shining behind it to send her a message of hope and positivity, because that’s what the sentiment says to me. So personally, I think it is a beautiful uplifting card.

  7. I find the sentiment on this card quite moving. I think with a slight colour change it would make a very uplifting sympathy card. Having said that, it works really well with the colours mojo (or was it craft space?) has chosen. I’ve been sending cards to my friends who are in isolation and they have all said how much they appreciated them. Keep up the great work, John and I look forward to day 18 x
