Day 11 – 30 Days Of Card Making
Inspired by the fresh greens and mini flowers that I saw during my first “road trip” in months, I reached for a few basic supplies together with some special “bits” …
Regular readers of this blog will know that I am doing this mini challenge in order to reunite my mojo with my craft space. To follow the full journey, and see the first 10 cards, you can find all related posts in the 30 Days Of Card Making archive.
Ok, on with today’s creation.

You’ve seen me do this style of decorative paper recently. Graduated ink pads swiped down white card. I did this with a green/yellow pad and a red-yellow pad on several separate sheets.
The greeny background also had some tone-on-tone stamping done on it – to add some “interest”. Strips for the background were then chopped out, along with some leafy die cuts and a banner.
Flowers were die cut from the orangey sheet. These were shaped and layered up to give a fuller bloom. A whacking great pearl was squidged into the centre of each.
A larger layer for the banner, and some extra leafy “shadows” were also cut from white card stock.
All of these bits and pieces were then arranged on the front of an A6 card blank and finished off with the sentiment.
Looking back, I would have found a different way to achieve the sentiment but it is what it is and I am happy with the composition and colour scheme.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for reading today’s progress. Hope you will join me tomorrow to see how mojo, craft space and I get on with your journey.
Much love,
J x.

I only have one word for this design – AMAZING! It is so fresh and clean and I personally think that the sentiment is just right. I will have to dig out my old label maker I think and give it a go.
