Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – “Thoughts and Prayers”
Another one of those, hope you never need it, ones. Quite liked the style though and the sentiment could be switched out for another so, worth me sharing it I reckon.
Today’s creation uses the Thoughts and Prayers cut, foil and emboss sentiment die from Couture Creations.
The background, which was mounted onto an A6 card, was created by glueing a thin piece of patterned paper to a piece of random cardstock and then embossed with an embossing folder. Love the way that part turned out.

The flowers were made with some random dies from my collection. They could equally have been any that you have in yours.
As with most of the sentiments this far, the Thoughts and Prayers design was cut from several hues of cardstock, glued together and mounted on the front of the card using foam pads.
In truth, I think that I should have used a darker ink for the letterpress technique on this one as the goldy colour fades away a little too much for my liking.
Still, you live and learn.
Hope you enjoyed this little overview. If you would like to see more of my design team explorations for Couture Creations, you can visit the archive here.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Bye for now.

Hi John. I think like you it’s sad to use these but, if you’ve got to send one this is beautiful. Have you done a video on the letterpress section of this technique?
