Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – “With Sympathy”
Hopefully you won’t need this anytime soon but, for when the need arises, here’s a simple way to send your thoughts.
Today’s creation uses the Sympathy cut, foil and emboss sentiment die from Couture Creations.
The background was created using an embossing folder with a light blush of pigment ink to pick out the detail. This was fixed to the front of an A6 card with a large wad of foam pads.

The sentiment was cut from various hues of cardstock with the top layer being cut using the inked letterpress technique. These were glued together and fixed to the front of the card with foam pads.
To finish, just a couple of strategically placed adhesive gems and leafy die cuts.
Simple. Sentimental. Done.

Even though they are not my favourite kind of cards to make, I do usually make my condolence cards. I really like the aesthetic of this one, beautiful use of colours and subdued. Precisely the way these cards should be.
Thank you so much for sharing John, stay safe and have a wonderful week.

Not one we want to make, but we all have to sometimes. Very effective without being over the top. Be safe xx
