Creative Ideas With Couture Creations – Layered Die Cuts and Ombre Letter Pressing
Having had their debut on HOCHANDA this yesterday, albeit via a very distanced method, I thought that it would be a nice idea to share the demonstrations from the show using my die designs on this blog and to expand on a few more so, here is the first one.
This one combines a couple of cool techniques to great effect.

The techniques are, layered die cuts and ombre [shaded] letter pressing to create a topper for a card with a stamped background.
If you would like to see how I made this, you can watch this 10 minute video.
Just enough time for a brew and a biccie, yes?
What do you think? Cool bombo, eh?
At the time of writing this post, the “Love” cut, foil and emboss die was available from the following retailers in the UK.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!
Bye for now.
J :)

Looks gorgeous John, thanks for the video, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

Love your demos John Find them very instructive and easy to follow. Thank you. Stay Safe
PS Good job I checked. Predictive text had changed instructive to destructive. So very wrong ha ha

Hi John
I finally managed to get the 9 piece set, yay! 😁 Love this technique, ‘shadowing’ the dies with an offset second die cut in a darker colour has been around for years, I love this new spin on it and now I’ve seen it I can’t believe no one has come up with it before, very innovative of you 👍
Hope everyone is ok. Hugs all round, stay safe, T x
