Couture Creations Gentleman’s Emporium – Collecting Moments Card

Hello and welcome to another make created with the Gentlemans Emporium range from Couture Creations.

Time is a precious thing to all of us and we should, therefore, encourage each other to take the time to enjoy the moment and not worry about the future or the past.

For this reason, I created this card as a way to do that.

Here is the finished design.

Here is what I used.

  • CO726540 – Couture Creations Gentlemans Emporium Diecut Ephemera Set
  • CO726813 – Couture Creations Gentlemans Emporium 6×6 Paper Pad
  • ULT200007 – Ultimate Crafts Obsidian Card Stock
  • ULT200039 – Ultimate Crafts Battle Fatigue Card Stock
  • ULT200001 – Ultimate Crafts Snow White Card Stock
  • CO725363 – Couture Creations Deep Gold Adhesive Pearls
  • CO726343 – Couture Creations Mini Guillotine
  • CO724389 – Couture Creations Turbo Glue Pen
  • CO726428 – Couture Creations Black Adhesive Foam Dots
  • 135mm Square White Card Blank
  • Double-Sided Tape
  • Sentiment Sticker or similar
  • Water and a paintbrush

Here is how I made it.

As usual, I began by layering the card stock and paper onto the pre-scored card.

The sizes of the layers are:

Obsidian: 13cm Square
Battle Fatigue: 12.5cm Square
Snow White: 10.5cm Square
Patterned Paper: 10cm Square

Next, I used a little water to dilute some of the glue from the Turbo Glue pen. This was then brushed onto two elements from the ephemera kit.

I used a gold marker pen to edge the clock face but this is not an essential step. You could use anything that you have in your craft stash, or nothing, it’s your choice.

Before moving on, I glued the clock face onto the decorative panel.

I then cut a strip of Obsidian card stock to fit border die cut from the ephemera it and fixed these in place using double sided tape.

The clock face combo was then stuck in place using foam pads.

To decorate the clock face I added some adhesive gold pearls and some adhesive gems. Again, you can choose to have them or not and also change up the colour choice.

To finish I used a sentiment panel, which was created simply by glueing the sentiment to some of the Obsidian cardstock and then trimming around to leave a border.

The panel was glued in place using the turbo pen.

Simple but still with meaning and sentiment.

I hope that you enjoyed this one and will join me again next time.

Please do feel free to leave any comments or thoughts below and, if needed, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!

Bye for now.

J :)
