Stamp It Sunday - A Christmas Card Creation - 13

Merry Christmas To You And Yours

It’s that day of the year again. You need to get the dinner ready, you’re thinking you should go on a diet, the kids are screaming the house down and you’re hoping that the distant relatives will leave soon.

That’s right, it’s Monday again.

Hehe, no, but seriously, in case you hadn’t noticed, it’s Christmas day!

It’s been a bit quiet on the blog this last couple of months, however, don’t fret as I have been working hard on getting 2018 ready. That means many different things to many different people but today is not the day to think about it.

Today is the time to touch every heart with love and care. Christmas is the time to receive and send blessings. It is the time to breathe the magic in the air.

Yup, I copied that off the internet. Don’t think I could have come up with something so sweet and sickly – *chokes down a bit of sick*.

So, whether you are spending the day with family and friends or simply relaxing on the sofa and drinking a glass of bubbly and nibbling your body weight in HEALTHY snacks on your own, like me, I sincerely hope that you put the rest of the year to one side, reflect on the good in the world and have a wonderful day.

May your Christmas sparkle with moments of love, laughter and goodwill.

Might be able to get one more of these sentimental things out before I throw up…

Love, joy and happiness to you all.

J :)

*runs to bathroom …

  1. Merry Christmas John! Thank you for a year of entertainment, crafty tips and getting us all thinking and talking about mental health. A big Xmas hug to you and all your blog followers, I hope you all had a ‘Wheely’ good Christmas and either got lots of crafty gifts or planning to hit the post Christmas sales for new stash and toys. 2. Merry Christmas from the west coast of the USA John. Our day is just beginning. Having a quiet holiday with me and hubs, getting over this cold/flu bug…sadly a global phenomenon. Santa blessed us with a dusting of snow, which is rare for where I live near Seattle, WA. Have a blessed (albeit snotty) day and looking forward to what exciting crafty adventures yo u have in store for us in 2018. Say hello to the Mother Country for me…. yeah, I’m a Suffolk gal. And as they say from my neck of the woods, “Are yew alroight boy?”. šŸŽ„šŸŽ„šŸŽ„

  5. Merry Christmas John. I feel sad that you and Phyllis are going to be on your own today unless of course it is what you want. To be fair I’m not really fit for human consumption. I have had a stinker of a cold for a week now. I am going to number 3 son’s for lunch but if he had said we don’t want you with that cold I would have happily curled up on the sofa with a bottle of wine and a straw and watch C&C all day. Hope you are feeling better soon. Take care and I hope you have a great 2018 x

  9. I’m like you, John, going to be alone, but will be cooking a small joint of pork (just for the crackling!!) and opening a bottle of bubbly which I shall drink on my own and to hell with the world. Normally I never drink alone, but this time I am going to enjoy it. I’ve been down with the Shingles for 2 weeks now, and fed up with feeling rough but the craft room is calling, and looking forward to all you have dreamt up for 2018 – I hope it is a superb year for you, and carry on blogging, we love to read them all. 10. Lovely message John. You’ve still made me laugh today, and the dog thinks I’ve gone mad…… Here’s returning the smiles. Happy Christmas, or so it goes. I’m going to take my new CM900 out of it’s box later, AFTER I’ve taken the dog out. Lol. xxx
