This week I have set a little challenge for myself. To make and create cards or card fronts in less than fifteen minutes – less time than it takes to cook a pizza – which I will most likely scoff at the end of making the first in this challenge.
I hope that you enjoy the series as it grows and will have a think about giving it a go yourself.
This is the first in the series.
It was made using the following items:
- Gold Mirror Card.
- Hunkydory Wonderful Women/Rose Bouquet luxury paper craft collection.
- Anita’s Mini Flat Backed Pearls.
- Double Sided Tape.
- PVA Glue.
- Adhesive Foam Tape.
The card front is approx A5 in size.
The background by cutting down various sizes of gold mirror card and the coordinating cardstock from the Hunkydory Wonderful Women/Rose Bouquet luxury paper craft collection. These were stuck together using double sided tape.
The shaped golden frame was made by splitting the middle die cut layer from the set of three that makes up the centre-piece topper and then sticking it at either end of the topper using PVA glue.
The outer frame and sentiment were raised from the background with adhesive 3D foam.
Some mini flat backed pearls were added to finish.
Here are a couple more pictures of the finished card front.
Not bad for fifteen minutes of fun, eh?
Hunkydory kits and mirror board, along with the accessories used in this project, can be sourced from the following retailers.
Many thanks for visiting and I hope that you liked the idea. I will be back soon with another cardmaking quickie.
