Good evening! I am pleased to share with you number seven of seven in the tag art mini-series of blog posts.
Hard to show you the pearlescence in this one but the effect in real life is truly lovely.
Just a few things used again here. Acrylic paint, Pebeo Dyna Wakeley pearlescent paint, a stencil by Designs by Georgina and some mini gems.
Black acrylic paint was first applied to the tag and allowed to dry.
The pearlescent paint was then dabbed through the stencil. When that paint had dried then the gems were applied using a pattern which I liked as it felt like the slowly wafting scent of the rose.
To finish, a coordinating satin ribbon was tied through the tag hole.
Many thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed this little bit of creativity.
See you again soon for another one.
J :)

Hi John, This is good! Never used pearlescent paint – is it textured paint? as the tag has a material look to it. I like it! Well done I can almost smell the roses!! I am wondering where you are keeping all your stash in Maisie!! It must be like a tardis in there!!
Happy crafting!

Hahah. Almost a tardis. It’s not a texture it’s just dabbed so because it’s quite a thick acrylic it keeps fine peaks :)

Hi John
So pretty, shame there’s no such thing as pearlesavision!
Love the subtly different colour pearls, bet they look amazing on the pearlescant paint.
A lovely set of very different tags all in all.
Hugs, T x
