A good while ago I came across a neat little add-on for the Brother Scan N Cut and quite honestly forgot to add it to my collection of info about the machine – bad naughty me! Anyway, recently the company has changed hands and started increasing availability across the globe so I thought that it was the perfect time to share – although you’ve probably heard of it already by now.

A few weeks ago I received the Zoom Engraving tool as a gift and have been having a little tinker to see what I could do with it and whether it works well with the Scan N Cut.

Come see what conclusions I came too … oh, and I will try and answer a bunch of questions as I write this post.

The title says it all really. What more can I say other than I hope that this year is a year to celebrate for us all.

How do you line stuff up on a container that’s got sloped sides? This.

Had an interesting question in via the Facebook group the other day asking what the point of points were. Here is the answer…

Just a quick note to say that I am taking a short break from blogging/vlogging etc for a couple of weeks.

There are a few things scheduled here and there (e.g. CF Fans page stuff and the odd Facebook post) so you may see them pop up and I will of course still be managing the Facebook group and Udemy course when necessary – I’m not totally abandoning the internet, despite the temptation – but mostly I will be doing what the random guy (not me) in the photo is doing – naps, snacks and books.

Seen a lot of talk lately that folk are not being able to weld text that has the bold option enabled. After some fiddling, fact-checking and solution creating I am pleased to say that I have been able to bust this myth, kinda.
