Creative Fabrica Fans Page Update – December and a Bit of January

It has been over a month since I last updated you on the awesome goodies that I have been uploading to my Creative Fabrica Fans page so thought it was time to waft some of these fab creations in your general direction.

Since I last updated you there have been three new SVG cutting file sets, two new printable paper sets and one single line SVG file sets released! Not bad for one month!

Before I dive in, if you are not sure what I am talking about, please do read on through to the end of this post and you will find a whole bunch of info about Creative Fabrica Fans and what it’s all about.

Ok, on with the show. Here is what go released in December (and early January)

First up was this filigree card SVG cutting file set.

It includes the card base in three style, solid, aperture and trellis. It also comes complete with the detailed top border and shadow layer so you can mix and match your way to a few different styles.

Next up members voted for Valentine’s as the theme for December’s Subscriber Selection and so I created a love heart gift box SVG cutting file set.

There is an option to have a solid or filigree lid and a bow “wrap” too. I even included a video tutorial showing how to put it all together.

To compliment this, I also released a set of printable papers with a love heart scatter pattern.

That comes supplied in the usual 101 colourways, UK A4 and US Letter, and PDF or JPG alternatives so you have the option to work with it in your graphics software if you just want to print a little bit and not use a lot of ink.

Next up for December I wanted to create something that would work throughout the year and I therefore created a set of single line gem stones outlines that you could draw, foil or emboss with and then coupled this with a gemstone scatter pattern paper set so that you could match the colour to the birthstone. That should pretty much cover everyone throughout the year, right?!

Finally, at the start of this year I started a new series of Creative Card Blank SVG Cut File sets that will be released on the first of each month.

The first in this series was this double diamond-fold card base that comes with the base (complete with score lines), and a layer set. The decoration is down to you. Don’t worry, there’s also a video on how to fold it correctly included too.

Phew, what a lot!

Subscribers can download this set now from my CF Fans page.

So, why not download it today and get making? I look forward to seeing what you make!

What Is This CF Fans Thing?

Not sure what I am on about with this CF Fans thing?

Probably easier if I tell, rather than type so here’s a quick video that I released just before the launch of my page to explain what this is all about. I’ve then popped some FAQs below the video on this page.

Interested? Great! Just click the button below to visit the Creative Fabrica Fans site to sign up.

Want more info? Then read on dear friend.

What Is CF Fans?

CF Fans is a website created by the folk behind the market place that I sell my SVG cut files on, Creative Fabrica.

It is a subscription based platform that gives “fans” exclusive content that won’t be released anywhere else, similar to Patreon.

In my case the content will include SVG cut files and printables.

When Will New Content Be Added?

New content will be added throughout the month. I have yet to establish a release schedule as this is still quite new to me but I will be working towards specific dates each month for different types of content.

Are There Other Benefits To A Subscription?

There will be regular polls, exclusive sneak peeks at new Creative Fabrica releases, the chance to submit SVG cut file requests, exclusive hangouts and more.

How Much Does It Cost?

The minimum monthly subscription fee is $5. You can choose to pay more if you think I am worth it. That’s up to you.

The Price Is In US Dollars – Is This Correct?

Creative Fabrica and CF Fans are based outside of the UK and use US Dollars as their default currency. To help you see what that would be in your currency, please feel free to visit XE Convert.

I Am In The UK, Will I Pay VAT?

Probably, yes.

As with all other online services, local taxes may apply. These will be displayed during checkout so you are fully aware of the total cost before committing.

Am I Locked In For An Entire Year?

This is a monthly renewing subscription and if your crafting preferences change or your budget changes, you can cancel at any time.

Can I Still Buy Individual Packs?

I will still be releasing SVG cut files via my store on Creative Fabrica and you are welcome to buy at your leisure. What you won’t find there though is the exclusive content from CF Fans.

Will You Still Do Free Stuff On This Blog?

Yes, and no. I will still be doing a range of arts and crafts and sharing that here. I will also still be announcing free stuff that I have elsewhere on the web but most likely you will need to head over to one of those sites to get it.

How Do I Sign Up?

Interested? Great! Just click the button below to visit the Creative Fabrica Fans site to sign up.

Right, that’s it for this one.

  1. I love that Card, if I join during January, will I have access to January’s files, or will my membership start with February’s releases?

  2. Beautiful designs John.
I’m always curious if the older ( I have one of the first once) Scan ‘N Cut machines will cut the filigree just a nice as the newer machines?

Thank you for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful evening.
