Well, the year started out with the exciting news of the release of some dies that I had designed and progressed to include a trip to Australia and a UK TV appearance to launch them.

It saw me move house from one side of Scotland to another.

This in itself involved me getting to grips with something that I have never had, a garden – and lots of it!

Streams were dredged, holes were dug, many MANY leaves were collected and 25 tonnes of gravel and HUGE piles of logs have been manually shifted.
Thankfully, I made a new friend.

She’s now a semi-permanent fixture in the daily goings on in the country as she’s the neighbours dog and comes to visit regularly, with or without the neighbours.
Over the last six months there has also been an ever evolving craft area which I now think is pretty much as I hope it’s going to be for a while.

This year also included the updating of the online Scan N Cut course to include new and updated lectures for the CM series machine and the start of the new content for the DX series machines, which will continue into 2020.

2019 also saw the closure of Digital Craft Emporium and the movement of all of the SVG cutting files back to this blog. A decision not taken lightly as it meant a lot of downloading, uploading, rejigging and manually delivering of files.
The year also included the creation and launch of what I hope will become a series of colouring books via Amazon.

I even managed to go on a workshop for my own enjoyment and made a fabby notebook!

Oh, yeah, and I made a whole bunch of blog posts too!
Doesn’t seem like much when I put it into a list like that but I can assure you, it has been a full on time.
Anyway, the point of all of this wasn’t to bore you with how busy I have been. It is to thank you for keeping me company, keeping me sane-ish and supporting me with your witty comments, generosity and genuine kindness.
You seriously made a BIG difference to this year.
Thank you.
Two little words but I hope you realize how much they mean.
Now, I won’t be staying up until midnight so I will just say this. I genuinely wish you all the best for the coming year/decade and sincerely hope to have your company when the new year rolls in and the craziness starts all over again.
Best wishes and much love.
John. x
