Well, I am super proud today as I have again been nominated for an industry award. Thank you!

That’s not the end of the story though as being shortlisted is awesome but voting for the actual accolade opens today so I would appreciate your help.

You could even win a cruise by voting, whether its for me or not, so it’s worth a click or two.

The Best of Craft Awards 2019 has been populated with many worthy folk nominated by readers of Crafts Beautiful magazine and its sister title, PaperCrafter magazine.

Dedicated enthusiasts have let them know in their thousands which brands and personalities are their favourites, and now the voting stage is about to begin.

This year, new categories have been introduced to reflect the trends for 2019, with additions that include Crafting Woman and Crafting Man of the Year, Mixed Media Must Haves, Most Inspiring Craft Book and Most Reliable Adhesive. As well as celebrating key industry names, the Best of Craft Awards 2019 offers a platform for customers of small independent stores in every corner of the UK to nominate their favourite retailer.

Voters even get put into a draw for some fantastic prizes that include a £2,000 craft cruise for two and a digital Christmas craft pack so, like I said, worth a click or two.

I have been nominated for Crafting Man of the Year.

  15. Have tried numerous times to get through. Finally followed advice from Margaret McCormack, did get through to find that the nominations page is now closed. Sorry John, I really did want to vote for you.

      • Yes. It is working again. I tried again and this time managed to cast my vote for you, John. Fingers crossed and lots of luck to beat everyone else. You deserve it. I don’t often post anything but read your missives and appreciate all that you do.

  19. Congratulations, John! I completed the nominations survey Crafts Beautiful sent, and of course I had to add you in the appropriate categories – looks like I wasn’t the only one! Here’s hoping we can get you a well deserved award this year
