Cut Foil and Emboss Art Deco Frame 1

April 25, 2019 — 7 Comments

Today I have a project idea for you based around the Cut Foil & Emboss dies that I have designed for Couture Creations.

This one features the Art Deco Cut Foil & Emboss die.

This one uses the both letter-pressing and hot foiling.

The base was created with a 125mm square blank white card that I layered some black and blue card on to.

I then inked up the Art Deco Cut Foil & Emboss die with a blue metallic pigment ink pad and ran it through the die cutting machine with some white card stock.

By the way, if you are unsure what ‘sandwich’ to use with your die cutting machine, just treat the Cut Foil & Emboss die as a regular thin metal die.

The die cut shape was then glued to the card front.

I then ran a wooden feather shape through the GoPress & Foil machine with some holographic heat activated foil.

To work along with that shape I cropped out some additional feather shapes from blue card stock.

These were then used to embellish the card front along with a sentiment and adhesive gems.

Hope you enjoyed this little creative idea.
