Brother Scan N Cut Working With Fabric

Brother Scan N Cut Online Course Updated – Preparing Fabrics

I am very pleased to let you know that I have now been able to add a section on preparing fabric for cutting with the Brother Scan N Cut to the very popular online confidence building course hosted on Udemy.

The first videos in this section have now been uploaded and cover an overview video on the challenges and solutions needed for working with fabric in the Scan N Cut and then there are also step by step videos covering five different stabilisation methods including:

  • The Hi Tack Support Sheet.
  • Heat Fusible Applique Sheet.
  • Freezer Paper.
  • Spray Starch/Terial Magic.
  • Fusible Interfacings.

In the coming months, I will be adding additional sections covering using the designs from your machine in conjunction with Brother embroidery machines too.

Existing students do not need to do anything as this content is automatically available the next time that you log in.

If you own a Brother Scan N Cut electronic cutting machine and haven’t already signed up for this amazing confidence building course, now would be a perfect time!

You can see free previews and find out more about this course over on the Udemy website.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing more with you soon!

Bye for now.

J :)

  1. Thanks John, as a sewer I am always looking at help and methods even tho I think I know it all then realise there’s another or better way. A great addition to the online course.

  2. Thank you so much for carrying on increasing the info on your course! I bought my scanncut in the early days specifically for fabric, but first attempts at cutting appliqué shapes was such a disaster it’s only been used for paper and card since. Great to be able to go back and have another go!
