This is getting exciting isn’t it?! Ready for day 3 of the run up to the launch of these new Cut Foil & Emboss dies?
Ok, let’s go.
This one is called, ‘Faceted Frame’ and has a versatile geometric style.

Again, lots of ways to use this whole or to snip out individual parts and layer them up perhaps.
Features
Over and above the Cut Foil and Emboss features of the die itself, and let’s not forget the letter pressing style that can be done too, there are some other neat features that were built into this design.
The first one is that this Cut Foil Emboss die can be used as a regular cutting die too so if you don’t have a foiling system, just run it through your regular die cutting machine as you would any other thin metal die and you will get an embossing and die cut effect!
In addition, although designed for the original cross-platform hot foiling and die cutting system – GoPress & Foil – this die can be used in conjunction with other foiling systems too!
Finally, this die has repeating patterns built in and so, with some clever cropping and trimming, it can be used to create layered styles, frames, photo apertures and more.
I can’t wait to see how you use it!
Fancy seeing one of the mockups that I made when I was testing the designs?
Ok, here ya go.

See how it only needs a few gems and a centre point and it’s job done?!
Hard to make out in this image however I did trim the centre part and raise it up on foam pads.
Now, just to let you know, at the time of writing these posts I did not yet have the physical products and so the images used in this blog post are either digital mock-ups or physical mock-ups made using card cut and detail applied from the original design files.
There are now lots of examples on this blog for you to check out.
Update – Here is a foiled and die cut example using the actual die!
