Got another Scan N Cut Saturday video for you and it’s pretty cool for those of you that enjoy making something a little ‘more’ than a greetings card.
In this video tutorial I will share with you how I go about creating a split ring bound tag book in Canvas Workspace for the Brother Scan N Cut.
Ready? Ok, let’s go.
The video is obviously based around the Brother Scan N Cut which is available exclusively through Create and Craft TV at the time of writing this post so if you would like to know more, please do head over to the Create and Craft TV website.
I also have quite an archive of blog posts relating to this machine so if you would like to have a look through those, here are a few links for you.
- Scan It Saturday Archive – an archive of weekly blog posts featuring tutorials.
- SVG Saturday Archive – a selection of blog posts featuring free SVG cutting files.
- Digital Craft Emporium – my SVG cuttings files for sale.
Also, if you did not know, I now have a full Scan N Cut workshop available over on Udemy which will give you all that you need to know about this amazing machine. Click on the image below to pop over and find out more.
Anyway, once you’ve had a trawl through that lot, do make yourself a brew and settle down for a watch.
Right, many thanks for watching and I will hopefully see you here again next week!
Ciao for now.
J :)
Hi John, enjoyed the video. I use a Mac and as you now Brother has not yet provided a downloadable version of canvas. Can not find a snap to grid on the web version, or am I missing it? Also can not find the ability to change grid size, think that would be a useful for many projects. Will have to try and commander husbands PC when he is out !!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing your skills Jan

I want to create a cone to the above measurements but can’t find an svg file to cut out on the scan n cut.
Cones are so useful part hats, Christmas Tree Dec’s, etc. Especially cut out in the new construction cards available.
Can anyone help me find a suitable file, or tell me how to create one?
