Canvas Workspace Update

For any Brother Scan N Cut users out there I thought that you might like to know that the Windows installable version of Canvas Workspace has been updated to Version 2.

Below you will find a little video that explains the changes.

In short though, it has been updated to give access to the Project libraries and also any premium accessory kits that you have registered. Still no access to ‘My Projects’ at this time.

I will be updating my course videos over on the Cut, Draw and Scan with Confidence course on Udemy in the next week or so.

  1. Workspace – I go to Help it tells me there is an update but after saying it’s downloading I get an error message saying unable to connect server. I don’t know what to o now. Help!!!

  2. Hello John, have I missed something here? where is the screen where can download the small pics onto your snc? have they gone?

I hope I can explain what I mean, it’s the screen with the small pics. that let’s you download direct to your snc that you can then make, but the new pics. are not allowing that, but to just download to your computer, have I come to the wrong canvas workshop site? Thanks John

      • I’m still not quite sure what you mean however there are two versions of canvas workspace. An online one that you access through your internet browser and a desktop one that gets installed on your computer.
        If you are asking about the ‘my projects’ section then this doesn’t appear in the desktop version. If you are asking about the projects library from Canvas, this appears in both however you need to update to version 2 of the desktop one for this to appear.

  3. When I go into Workspace there is no message about an update. I go to Help it tells me there is an update but after saying it’s downloading I get an error message saying unable to connect server.
