Thanks to the snowy weather we have been having up here I have managed to record a decent length video on how I made a cool clamshell memory box and wanted to share it with you.
As there was a fair bit to blog about I have split this into a multipart post. Instructions on how to navigate it will be shown at the bottom of each page, together with a link if you would like to skip straight to the video.
Before I go ahead with all of that, let me show you the project.
Gorgeous isn’t it?!
This version, which measures 3″ x 3″ x 3″, was made from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ Graphic 45 paper and some black cardstock. I combined this with a few bits and pieces that I have in my stash. You could, of course, do it from whatever you fancy.
A fuller list of what tools were involved are given in the video.
Ok, so the first step is to trim the 12″ x 12″ cardstock down to 9″ wide. Then, it was onto the scoring.
Downloads showing the measurements are on the next page.
Hi, I am new to your website and have just purchased my SNC2. Am wondering if this Clam Shell Memory Box can be made on the SNC2?

Probably. That wasnt the purpose of the post though.
Do check out the rest of the blog as there are a growing number of features relating to the Scan N Cut.

Thanks…I did see your other post about the bags. I guess, as a newbie, I should just stick to the SNC2 posts.
