Setting Up WiFi On The Brother Scan N Cut CM900 GCPV

Scan It Saturday 10.2 – Connecting The Brother Scan N Cut CM900 To A WiFi Network And A Scan N Cut Canvas Account

With some models of the Brother Scan N Cut WiFi functionality comes built in so you can transfer information between it and the Brother Scan N Cut Canvas online design suite. If you have struggled in understanding how to do this, you will want to watch this video.

You will of course need to know the name of your WiFi network and also the password for that network. Once you have this information you are set to enable WiFi on the machine and connect it to that network.

If you also want to link it to your Scan N Cut Canvas account you will also need access to the internet and your Scan N Cut Canvas account during this set up process.

Don’t forget, if you do not yet have a Brother Scan N Cut, the full range along with all of the accessories are available in the UK exclusively through www.createandcraft.tv

Other than that you are set to go, so I’d best leave you to watch …

Many thanks for watching. If you have any questions then please do use the comments section below or the comments section on YouTube.

Catch you all again soon.

  1. Hi John, question my laptop with Canvas, talks to my CM900 no problem, I can download intricate designs great at home, and at family houses. Problem is I run a group at a local authority venue, and although I can connect up wifi, on Machine, and lap top, they won’t talk to each other, connection error repeatedly comes up 🤔

  2. Just trying to find out if it’s possible to connect more than one ScanNcut to ScanNCut Canvas.

Both of us have one now. I know we could just have two accounts but there must be those who run multiple machines and would want them all on one account. Doesn’t seem to be an option to add another SnC

    Thanks.

    • Yes. You will need to use the WiFi wizard set up to connect it at each location each time. That’s quick and easy. If you are connecting to two different Scan N Cut Canvas accounts then you’ll need to disconnect the last one used and reconnect the new one each time also. Otherwise this won’t need changing.
