  1. HI JOHN, I LOVE THIS VIDEO, WELL DONE FOR DEMYSTIFYING PAINT POURING. I HAVE A QUESTION: COULD THIS MIX BE DONE ON A SET OF DIGITAL SCALES, WEIGHING OUT THE SAME WEIGHT OF EACH COMPONENT? THEN EVERYTHING COULD GO INTO THE MIXING POT AND MAKE LESS PLASTIC WASTE.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME JOHN, I LOVE YOUR WEBSITE.

  3. Thank you for sharing this video and making it simple to understand. I have been wanting to try this but got confused with floetex and other products they said we needed. When all I needed was WD40 and PVA. I will be trying this out now so wish me luck and will show you my works, hopefully they will be as good as yours. Off to hunt for the WD40. Kind regards Suzanne xxx

  4. Thank you for the awesome video! I can’t wait to try this technique! Your way of explaining was very easy to understand. I also love that the project can be done without spending a ton of money. As a crafter, I have all these things on hand (raiding my son-in-law’s tool box for the WD-40!) I can’t wait to try this! Looks like so much fun! An added note: this was my first time watching one of your videos. I live in the US & my sister in the UK told me about you. I think you are great!

  5. John, thanks for making such a comprehensive video of the technique and demystifying messy paint pouring.
I’ve got a large stash of paint thanks to my daughters A level art course (she ‘needed’ every colour in the art shop) so there’s plenty to use up and keep me going for quit some time!

  7. Wow John, what a lot of work you have done for us, Thanks. Beautiful backgrounds.
Do you think that just before you let the canvas dry, you can put a piece of cardstock over it, remove it en let that dry also? Or do you think you will ruin the paintsurface on the canvas?

  8. Fab video john. Been wanting to try this for ages, but all the videos I’ve seen, have made the process look both complicated and expensive to achieve great effects. Here you have shown that i sos possible to get stunning projects without fuss and unbearable expense. You are a STAR! Thank you :-) xx

  9. Great video. Very easy to follow with relevant details. I will definitely be trying this, not only because of the results but because it’s a good stash buster too (I have lots of cheap acrylic paint). Thank you John,

  11. Wow John thank you! Suggestion…..if a larger tray is needed, plastic greenhouse staging trays or plastic potting trays would be a cheap easily washable option.
