Well my lovelies with the conclusion of a busy couple of months of work, that was tagged straight onto the end of the All Counties Challenge, I have come to the exhausted conclusion that I haven’t really had a proper break away from it ALL for a few years now so please do forgive me while I pop into hibernation for a couple of weeks and take a time out.
Unless scheduled in advance, emails and the blog, along with Facebook, Twitter and all of that stuff will fall silent as I take a very long hot scented bath, a walk in the country, a train ride to anywhere, sniff random flowers, go for a shopping trip to a craft shop, grab a coffee with a total stranger or whatever else crosses my mind and basically have a bit of ‘me time’.
You can of course plunder the archives here for all sorts of ramblings as everything that I’ve done in the last three years is still here for your enjoyment.
Rest assured that I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with more blogging goodness, and random blether.
There are just some signposts telling me that I should press the reset button and recharge the batteries – you don’t want to know where they get inserted.
Play nicely and enjoy life and I look forward to seeing you back here in a couple of weeks. :)

Love yourself John, we all do.

Great news as everyone deserves a break away from it all. Hope you find a good looking stranger to share the coffee with and let me know if you need some pointers for quaint and quirky tea rooms in Scotland!

Thank you for all the great tips and lessons you have taught us all during your wanderings, now, as you said, it is time to become very selfish and do whatever you want and enjoy it to the full. I hope that you will get all the great weather that you deserve and, as the others have said, you will return to the fold very well rested and with some more brilliant ideas to tell us fellow crafters all about. HAPPY HOLIDAY. See you when you return.

Hiya John
You haven’t stopped for at least 18 months so a break is well in order but most of all well done for spotting the signs. It’s one of the hardest things to do, say to all and sundry “no, I gotta switch off for a bit”. After 25 years of illness and all that jazz I’m still crap at saying “no, it’s me time”!
You live in a beautiful country that’s quite new to you with amazing sights, scenery and history, go enjoy it… I adore the comments others have left, I had a right giggle lads and lasses… Thank you.
Recharge for as long as you need, I’ll be thinking of you and all the people who leave messages on this blog of yours… Wishing cloud free days for all of us.
Big hugs and happy thoughts to all, T x
