February 22, 2017 — 5 Comments

Hallo All. For those that don’t know, Tattered Lace turned four years old this week. It therefore brought back a few old memories of producing these shows in my old life.

I know how much many folk have loved this range over the years and I therefore thought you might be interested to know about a couple of products that are being featured as part of the celebrations this week.

For the Brother Scan N Cut users out there I thought that you might be interested to know that there is a new Tattered Lace USB coming soon. It is being launched as part of the Tattered Lace 4th Anniversary celebration on Create & Craft TV on The specific details of the USB are under wraps however it is shown to be launching on Thursday 23rd February, 2017.

In addition, there are a huge range of the Tattered Lace dies available as part of the week long event too, so well worth taking a browse through all SIX HUNDRED!!!

If you fancy a brew whilst watching what is on offer, you can tune in to the shows from the following locations:

  • UK – Sky 674, Freeview 23, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, Apple TV or Amazon Fire or the website, www.createandcraft.com/gb
  • US – Dish 221, Roku, Apple TV or Amazon Fire or the website, www.createandcraft.com/us
  • Worldwide – Most likely you could stream via one of the websites above or Apple TV and Amazon Fire, whichever is appropriate for your location.

They also ship worldwide so if you are interested, do check out their international postage rates.

I’m looking forward to seeing what is included – are you?

Hi John, this is probably such a simple question that readers will be bored silly & wonder if I’ve been in outer space for past few years!!!
I am currently trying to make my daughter’s wedding invitations using C&C Couture dies – which I understand is allowed. For the save the dates I just die cut every thing – yes a labourious job. So for the invites, we’re trying to scan in a cut out of the die but it isn’t picking up all the intricacies. About half seem seems to cut but then ‘has had enough’! In all honesty, it was my son in law who was trying to do it – & he’s no novice, he loves watching the scan n cut shows. He knew to lower the smallest cut to 1 instead of 5 ( I think it was) as Mel advised but not all the bits were picked up. 1 of our thoughts is the card we use to die cut. Do we die cut on plain white card – will there be enough contrast for it to be picked up, or should we use a dark card? We tried white & a silver piece (left over from save the dates). I would be grateful for any help/ info at all. I have had my m/c for 3or4 years but due you degenerative disk disease, slipped disks & vertebral fusion, which hasn’t cured my pain & therefore still have to take a lot of fentanyl & morphine in top of a heap load of other drugs. Therefore, I don’t have a lot of good days in which to craft, tho I try my best am determined to get better. I’m sure it’s something you or Mel could do just by clicking your fingers. Kind regards Alyson Bowker

    Keep up the good work.
