All Counties Craft Challenge Colouring Book

Colour Me Happy

Well, the challenge keeps growing and you guys never cease to amaze me!

Why? Read on friend, I shall explain.

A while back, during a catch up with the All Counties Challenge sponsor, Create & Craft TV, they expressed an interest in making something creative that could be given out for donations.

It took a while for planning and printing, and I have only been able to grab limited quantities for visitors to various public events and All Counties Craft Challenge workshops until now.

Today however I received a message to say that it recently went fully live on the Create and Craft TV website and in the very short time from it becoming available it has already generated over £3,000 in donations!!!

THANK YOU!

That has just boosted the challenge fund raising total from over £5,000 to over £8,000 – a whopping 41% of the way to the £20,000 target!

Sorry about all of the exclamation marks however I am just stunned at the support that is being shown for this challenge.

Ok, I think I need to gather myself and tell those of you that don’t know about ‘it’ that Create and Craft TV have created.

Here it is!!

It is a bound book of 24 postcards featuring ready-to-colour designs from Stephanie Weightman, Nancy Watt, Sue Balfour, Kevin Wood, Natasha McCarty, Pollyanna Pickering, Sarah Payne, Lou Collins, the Dreamees and me!

The book has been printed on 300gsm Cardstock by paper professionals, Hunkydory – so you know it’s good quality.

There are even six coloured pencils to get colouring with!

I’ve already been having a little fiddle …

Want one?

The book is available to anyone making a donation to the challenge via one of the following two methods.

  1. Make a donation via the Create and Craft TV website. To do this, please visit http://www.createandcraft.tv/allcountieschallenge and click on your preferred donation amount. Please note that normal postage and packing costs apply.
  2. In person. If you see me out and about at a retail event (Crafting Live/Hobbycraft at the NEC/at an All Counties Challenge workshop etc), make a donation into the official collection pot and help yourself to one. This option is subject to me having any with me at the time.

Not fussed about the book but still want to make a donation? You can! Please visit http://www.justgiving.com/allcountieschallenge

Right, I’m off for a lie down in a dark room to simmer down – phew!

Thanks again!

Catch you again soon.

J :)

  1. I gave one to a crafty lady at the nursing home where my dad lives after she came back after almost 8 weeks in hospital. She loves colouring and painting and was over the moon (after she shed a few tears)! She loves it! Thank you John. I think I need some more -I will order after my holiday.

  2. Got mine via C and C, nice to have something small to colour, and a great cause to donate to. Well done C and C for supporting you John, for the designers who took time to draw the pictures, and especially to you John. You are doing a wonderful thing in this craft challenge, hope you smash your target :)

  3. Got mine at the North Wingfield (Clay Cross) workshop last Saturday. Can’t wait to have a colour. Congratulations John – what you’re doing is great for people with mental health issues! You should get some sort of award for all your commitment – OBE???

  4. That is wonderful news John. I got hold of mine at the cheshire workshop and it is beautiful. It was lovely to see the talents of the contributors being used for such a worthy cause. May your total get ever greater! x

  5. Hi John

That is brilliant!!!! So chuffed as I brought the book as soon as it was shown on the website. Well worth the donation for postcard quality, great thick card that takes all manner of pens, pencils etc not to mention the calibre of the contributing artists (one or two surprises too of people who I never knew could draw so beautifully). I really hoped it’d take off and oh boy it has. Over the moon for you John :-)

    Hugs, T xxx
