All Counties Craft Challenge Group Workshop – Surrey Weekender Part 2

July 25, 2016 — 24 Comments

Everyone had such a lovely time, and the venue was so amazing, that I’ve decided to do a second weekender at The Manor Hotel, Godalming.

This time around there will be a choice of 5 workshops per day so you can build your own weekend of craft!

More demonstrators, more workshops, more crafters, more free food and drink!

Workshop Details

Date: This event will run over three days – Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November, 2016.

Time: All workshops will run from 10 am until 3.30 pm.

Venue: The workshops will take place at The Manor House Hotel in Godalming.

The Manor House, Huxley Close, Godalming, GU7 2AS.

Refreshments/Lunch: A full selection of free tea, coffee and biscuits will be available all day, each day.

A free selection of cakes will be provided twice a day.

A free buffet style hot/cold lunch will also be provided on each day.

Workshop Details: Previously I ran one workshop per day. There is now a choice of workshops on each day giving you the opportunity to build your own craft weekender itinerary!

Each demonstrator will be repeating the same workshop across the three days so please only book one day with each demonstrator or you will end up doing the same workshop three times.

All workshops will have a Christmas theme.

Price: Each workshop will be charged at £60 per person. All workshop fees and accommodation (if you choose to stay in the hotel) must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

How To Book:

The bookings team at the manor hotel will be dealing with all bookings for this event.

You can secure your workshop itinerary and accommodation (see further down this post for prices) by calling 01483 520033 at any time between Monday and Friday, 9am to 5pm quoting the relevant workshop codes below.

All these workshops seem to take place “down South” no-one ever seems to do any in the midlands , Just saying

Have you seen the itinerary, showing Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales? Hardly all ‘down south’.
Have you noted that this challenge is a work in progress?
The only places that I’ve not yet been able to arrange workshops are those where no one has stepped up to offer a venue in which to hold one.
      Just saying …

Just booked onto the Scan n Cut workshop – looking forward to it. So much to learn!

Do I have to have a scan and cut to come as I don’t and never used one

Hi, could you please advise what is required for the jewellery workshop as I will need to source the items and do not want to leave it to the last minute. Thank you.

Hi John. Just booked myself and my Mum in for the Scan N Cut workshop. We both have one, do we need to bring them? Soooo excited x

Woo hoo! Workshops booked for Saturday and Sunday! Can’t wait – it’s going to be great fun!

Phew…two workshops booked on Saturday and Sunday.
Do we need to bring anything or are all the tools and basic crafting kit provided?

Managed to get two days off work ( took a bit of begging lol) so will be there on Friday and Saturday . Also booked one night at the hotel as it looked really nice when I came to the Sheena workshop on part one.
I do not have a scan & cut machine as yet but would really like to have a little look will that be possible on either of the days I am attending. I keep thinking of getting one .
Look forward once again to attending
    See you all then X

All booked – 3 workshops for me :D

Dear John, we are a small group who would like to have you visit us. We are in Scotland, actually we are in Dunfermline FIFE. I have been trying to contact you but am finding it very hard as I am not computer literate. If you could contact me on my e-mail to give me some information it would be helpful, sincerely your,s Margaret Bonnar.
