Good evening! I am pleased to share with you number six of seven in the tag art mini series of blog posts.
A very abstract look this time around. Surprisingly few bits of stash used too.
Along with the tag I used acrylic paint in various colours, gems and pearls in various colours and a stencil. Some black pigment ink was also used for the edging.
After applying the first colour, cream, I added some dry brushed purple. Some green was then stenciled onto the dry tag.
Finally I added some gems and satin ribbon to complete the look.

I have loved all your tags so far and even had to buy two of the magazines you got as I loved the stamps you used (bird in a cup and rabbits). I love that you shared the one you weren’t happy with. I’m newish to paper crafting and stamping so it is reassuring to know someone with your expertise can make something that didn’t work out how it was hoped. It gives me the confidence to make “mistakes” as I learn. Thankyou.

I like the name of the post as much as the tag :-) good use of the gems. Think I only use them as a 3 plus 3 on the diagonal opposite corner of a card. Very poor of me really. Gems and pearls On the list as a “must try something different” when I get back to my papercraft (been too long)!. I love purples or pinks and greens together too so this tag has worked it’s magic on me. Have a great weekend,
