Create And Craft TV Appearance Next Week

June 3, 2016 — 28 Comments

Hi all. Well, it was a bit of surprise when I received a call this week asking if I would be available to demonstrate the Brother Scan N Cut on Create and Craft TV again.

More than happy to help, I agreed.

I therefore thought I’d pop the show date and times here in case you would like to tune in or get some questions/demo requests going on ahead of the shows.

The showtimes are:

  • Monday 6th June – 0800, 1300 & 1800.
  • Tuesday 7th June – 0900 & 1500.
  • Wednesday 8th June – 1000.

I will be demonstrating the Scan N Cut CM900 (ignore the pic – that’s the CM500) along with the universal pen tool and some of the other accessories.

The exact ‘Four Day Deal’ bundle is yet to be confirmed so I’ll post a link to that when I know more.

If you’d like to see some the things that I have been creating and designing for the Scan N Cut over the last two years, please feel free to rummage through the Scan N Cut archive.

Anyway, hope you can tune in (or record).

Feels weird as I haven’t done this on-air stuff for over a year!

Chat again soon.

J :)

I only really started watching C&C 2014 after I had a stroke and a couple of other things so I never saw you there! I am pleased to be getting anther take on everything although I love Mel’s demos and watch them whenever I can! I have had my S N C for about 2years now and use it when I can. However I don’t feel I use it to its full potential as I don’t find the time to learn everything so it takes me longer to do each project! Eg the pathways to each tool are not always as obvious to me as they are to Mel so although I know they are there I can’ always find them! Sometimes when Mel is demonstrating I look away for a moment and I’ve missed that vital connection! Good luck in your return and the new venture challenge!

Hi John, look forward to your demos. Glad your back on C&C. I purchased my Scan ‘n’ Cut when it first came out, but have only used it a couple of times – bad of me I know. Hope you demos will get me to have another go. xx

    Hi John

What terrific news! Once that “on air” sign goes on it’ll be like you were never away.

I do love Mel’s demos but yours were always were just as good and your real skill explaining the technical side of the machine was quite brilliant. I remember you answering several technical questions on air with such clarity the Mr and I were hanging on every word. Plus, what great exposure for the challenge!

I shall record whatever I don’t get to watch live. I have a cutting machine but not a scan and cut and I learn stuff regardless plus your demos were always so cool.

I’m really looking forward to it, you have a great weekend and look forward to a fun three days.

    Big hugs always,

    T x

Nerves are normal and will keep you focused. You’ll be great, as always! After watching you and Mel on C&C when the Bro first came out I bought one with trepidation and was so thrilled with it I bought another! If I manage to catch up with you for my one to one I will quiz you about Canvas if that’s ok as I haven’t had the courage to go there yet. Good luck with your appearance on C&C, not that you’ll need it. Liz X

Look forward to seeing you on telly again!! & of course your informative tuition! Please I do have a query … I have lost my stylus, turned the craft room upside down & it appears to have gone completely right off the radar! Any chance you can either point me in the right direction to get a new one or get Create & Craft to get some in stock.

    Happy crafting

Looking forward to it. It’s nice to get a different take on it sometimes. Don’t tell Mel I said that…….. Seriously, different people often look at different aspects, so it makes a nice change. You’ll be fine, I’ve got complete faith in you.
