Artist Trading Card Daily – 86

Hey there blogs and blogettes. How are you today? Hope you are well.

I’ve (obviously) been having a go at another ATC365 creation and think that I have come up with another little gem.

FYI this is the last in the series using the Artemio tag kit so without any delay, let’s crack on.

Here is what I made.

Artist Trading Card Daily - 86.1

A lot going on on this one so let me start at the beginning.

The background came from the Artemio tag kit, this was cropped and then mounted onto coordinating cardstock.

The cut, tuck and fold die from Spellbinders was then used to create the fancy panel onto which the decorations were to sit.

A doily was then cut with the Nellie’s multi frame dies and coloured with pigment ink. This was topped with a scallop edged sticker from the Artemio tag kit and stuck into the centre of the fancy panel.

I surrounded this with mini gems and then popped the letters B and E into the centre – be? Yes, just be. Be you. Be bold. Be anything – remember that!

Artist Trading Card Daily - 86.2

The butterfly came from a stash of die cuts that I had hanging around. I double layered them and applied it above the sentiment.

For the leaves I stamped a leaf vein design onto green mottled paper stock and cut out some leaf shapes free-style. These were then shaped with the Tonic flower forming tools and stuck in place with Pinflair glue gel.

The final decoration was the flowers. These were created much as I did with a previous ATC by sticking the scallop edged stickers to cardstock, cutting them out and shaping them. Little floral die cuts were also added to the centres for a little more embellishment.

Piff, paff, pouf – all done.

What do you think? I’m very pleased with this final creation in the series of Artemio tag kit entries for the ATC365 challenge.

Right, I’d best go figure out what I am going to do next …

  1. Hi John

A great end to the Artemio adventure. It’s all pretty darn cool but the thing that amazes me the most is how you turn stickers into pretty spectacular little flowers. I love the simple sentiment too- open to interpretation :-)

Plus you gave me a quick walk down memory lane with “piff, paff, pouf!” I remember a magician on kids tv in the 80’s – was his ‘agracadabra’! Might have been on Crackerjack or one of those other variety type shows that were popular in the 70’s and 80’s. I don’t remember, it was a long time ago!

Looking forward to what’s next, hugs,
