Artist Trading Card Daily – 65

Love a giggle?

Yes?

Q: Did you hear about the mathematician who’s afraid of negative numbers?

A: He will stop at nothing to avoid them.

Lol, no, but seriously. That was funny right? Ok, ok, I’ll try another one in a minute.

First, here’s my next creation in the ATC365 challenge. Already on number 65! Wow, just 300 to go!

So, it’s sort of along the lines of having a giggle, and I love hearing from you all – so I’m thinking it’s pretty spot on!

Anyway, the card started with the two little birds. I’m not sure where I got them as I lost the cover sheet for them, but I think that they might be Wee Mee stamps – do correct me if I am wrong. The sentiment was the Love & Giggles stamp from the Rondelle set made by Prima Marketing. Both were stamped out using a black Versafine Inkpad.

Oh, just before I carry on, did you know that I have a fear of speed bumps. Don’t worry, I’m slowly getting over them.

Lol! What do you mean *tumbleweed*. Go on, a little giggle?

Ok, carrying on with the ATC. I coloured the birds in using a yellow watercolour pen and then drew a thin horizontal line for them to appear to be sitting on using a Pigma Micron pen.

To create the clouds I used a mask that I have previously created using Inkadinkado masking paper. For the heart shaped cloud I punched out a piece of the masking paper using a heart punch. After masking off the ATC I used a Tim Holtx distress marker in the Perfect Paper Partners pen spritzer and added a light shading of blue to the sky.

Two cannibals are eating a clown. One cannibal turns to the other and asks, “This taste funny to you?

BOOM! slipped that one in there without a pre-amble, do on admit it, that was good right?!

Sheesh, you’re a tough crowd.

Back to the ATC. The final step was to layer this onto some black cardstock.
