Artist Trading Card Daily – 53

Today’s ATC celebrates Spring. Back when I made this it was a distant vision of the future, but as I write this post it has been a beautiful day and it really feels like Spring is finally popping it’s head around the door! :)

Artist Trading Card Daily - 53.1

This was quite a simple design. It did (as usual) start out as something entirely differently but as the design started I quickly changed my mind as I liked the clean simple look for this one.

I began by stamping out the floral design (from Inkadinkado) with a multitone pigment inkpad from Versacolor (called 503 Limone).

Mini gems (in various sizes and shades of green) were added to the floral design with a fine tipped PVA glue.

I was going to leave it at that however I decided to add the word Spring to the top left of the design. I did choose a different green for this however in hindsight I probably would have used the same green from the 503Limone inkpad, just to tie it together better.

The layers of cardstock were chosen to coordinate with the colours of the ink used to stamp the design – and hey presto, job done!

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you are enjoying this series of daily posts.
