Soooo, I lost enough internet to keep blogging my daily ATCs but now I’m back! I’ll be posting a few singles over the next few days and will then try and post two per day over the next couple of weeks until I have caught up – so don’t forget to check your inboxes!
(I’ll be backdating these too so that they fit in chronologically with the rest – so it might seem weird for a bit while I catch up).
Today’s ATC features something that has been lacking of late and was made to remind everyone of what we all need in life!
This design uses the free Clearly Besotted stamps that I got with Issue 133 of Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine.
The branch and leaf section of this design were stamped in black archival ink onto some plain white cardstock. I then used the same ink to stamp out a three of the open flowers and two of the buds.
After trimming down the white cardstock I layered this onto some pink and green cardstock (as this was to match the coloured pencils that I had chosen).
The flowers were coloured in using colouring pencils and then given a coat of Glossy Accents and allowed to dry. These were then cut out by hand.
The sentiment (not sure where this came from) was stamped onto white card and then layered onto pink cardstock.
To finish I created some little curled stamens using quilling paper strips and layered these with the flowers onto the background panel using Pinflair Glue Gel. The sentiment was then added.
And that was that. Done, dusted and strength and hope restored – hopefully! lol.
Thank you for visiting and I hope that you are enjoying this series of daily posts.

I’ll see you again tomorrow – now that I have the REAL internet back!!!! Woo hooO!!!!!

Great to have you back John and this is a lovely card – like the way you’ve done the stamens! I know what it’s like to have internet problems – out in the country where we live it’s a constant frustration with speeds of only 0.4Mb at best and often just drops off … quicker to travel to see someone than to send them an email. Ah well – I’m looking forward to all your inspirational makes to come x

Glad to hear you are okay. That is the trouble with technology, it makes us instantly available and gives immediate contact to the whole, wide world, but when it goes it is as if we dropped off the face of the planet and we have no other way of connecting to say what is the problem.
Happy you are back and looking forward to the catch up!

Hi John, as I’ve been away on holiday, and never check my emails while I’m away, I didn’t realise you had not been posting your ATC’s until I got home and checked my inbox. I would have really missed your daily posts had I been at home. Great that I haven’t missed any though. I love seeing your lovely works of art each day. This one is particularly lovely. Fuchsia’s are one of my favourite flowers.
