Artist Trading Card Daily – 48

Do a doodle-do! Nope, it’s not a wonky cockerel, it’s what I did for today’s artist trading card.

This one is not very hard to explain.

I got a piece of white cardstock and doodled some lines and shapes with a Pigma Micron pen. Yup, that was it! lol.

I did do a little extra for the finishing touches by adding some glossy accents to the shapes to make them look like little glass beads and also brushed on some black ink at the top and red ink at the bottom to give it a little dimension, but that truly was it.

  1. Lovely – just got a book about doodling like this and I’m keen to give it a go. I like the touch of ‘whimsy’ it gives and what a great idea to use glossy accents to makes some of the shapes look like beads! Another delightful ATC … nicely done :) x

  2. I just LOVE this one John! … and yet… I have no idea why it calls to me because I’m not a squiggles sort of gal. It’s such a wonderful little piece of art and kind of makes me think of jewellery, dangling from an unseen pole … expensive jewellery.

Aw … it’s really fabulous John. Well done you clever crafty chap! I’m in awe. ~ Cobs. x
