Artist Trading Card Daily 41.2

Artist Trading Card Daily – 41

Went I sat down to make today’s artist trading card I was in the mood for a little doodling … so that’s what I did :)

Artist Trading Card Daily 41.1

I used a metal stencil to trace out the bird design (sorry, not sure which manufacturer this is from).

I then used Pigma Micron pens to create the doodle design within the outline.

To finish I brushed some black pigment ink to the edges and mounted it straight onto black cardstock.

And there we have another in the collection of 365!

  1. Such amazing variety …. I was just in the mood for some doodling when along came this lovely design so now I’m off to check out my stencils and get going. The little bird is delightful and you are a very talented man – thanks for sharing all your lovely designs x (you do realise we won’t want you to stop John? How about continuing in 2016 but maybe once a week or whatever you can manage …. if you haven’t run out of ideas by then – but I bet you won’t have?) x

  2. WOW that’s some ‘doodle’!! My first attempt at this (ages ago), was a mess! Looking at this I now realise you must have some sort of ideas for certain areas …… not willy-nilly lines – squiggles all over the place like I did!! :-) x

  3. I love zentangle, and tend to do it mostly when I’m on holiday. Your little bird looks like a very cute robin. Gorgeous, love you tangles.

  4. Hi John

A lovely zentangle image, the ink shading frames it beautifully.

Another different type of ATC, well done! I think you’ve managed 41 very different ATC’s, that’s mightily impressive.

    Hugs
