Today’s Artist Trading Card post features the Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card stamp again (in fact it’s an offcut from the background that I made the other day.
The theme for this one is awareness.
As you’ve seen before, the background was made using the Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card stamp, coloured in water-soluble pen and then spritzed.
This was then cropped down and layered onto the main ATC.
The lettering was made using mini alphabet stamps. I stamped out each word and then cut out with scissors. I then edged them using a Wink Of Stella pen. These lettering panels were then stuck to the ATC using PVA glue.
I added a couple of mini gems to the centre of a couple of the flowers in order to add a “pop” to the design.
I think that the design really suits the theme, don’t you?
Anyway, thanks for stopping by again and I hope that you are enjoying this daily delight. Do stop by again tomorrow for another.
J :)

Hi John, another little treasure :). I’m loving this on-going series you’re doing for us this year. I like the flowers, especially their little jewelled centres and the font on the sentiment is really cute…bet that’s the first time you’ve heard a font called cute lol. Looking forward to tomorrow :) x

Hello John , happy new year , just a question if you don’t mind what gsm card stock would you use for ATC

That would depend on what you are making and how many layers you plan to have. There are no rules to speak of other than the overall size.
